There are some perks associated to being one of Android's biggest supporter in gaining market share among the competition as the good news keeps on rolling in for Motorola DROID owners. Now that most owners are getting comfy with Android 2.1 on their handsets, there is even better news now that the handset is getting treated to an ice cold dessert that's sure to give most owners a stomach full of goodness. There is a leaked Android 2.2 Froyo ROM that's now available courtesy of MyDroidWorld which comes packing with root' class='bbc_url' title='Link Externo' rel='nofollow external'>http://www.androidpt.info/index.php?title=Root']root and SuperUser permissions to make the venerable smartphone still look fresh among the competition. Everything looks to be working perfectly except for Wi-Fi that's been omitted to “protect the original source.” So if you're feeling a little bit adventurous, you can check it out to get yourself situated with the latest version of the platform. If you decide to not jump the gun with this offering, then just be prepared to wait out or sign up for email updates regarding the official Android 2.2 Froyo update.
